How to install the Impact Computing Support Agent

1. Open Microsoft Edge or another browser such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari

2. Click ‘Start without your data’

3. Click ‘don’t allow‘ and then ‘Confirm and continue‘

4. Click ‘Continue without this data‘

5. Click ‘Don’t allow’ and then ‘Confirm and start browsing’

6. Next in the address bar of Edge type in ‘impactcomputing.co.uk/setup‘

7. Once loaded, click the link on screen to download the Impact Computing Support Agent

8. Type in the secret phrase, provided by Impact Computing

9. Once the password has been entered, click on the “Attached Files” link which will start the download, once done this will show on the download section of Edge where you can click the open in folder icon

10. Once you have found the ‘Agent_Install’ location right click on the file and then select Properties

11. Tick the box that shows unblock and then click apply and then OK

12. Now right click the file again and ‘Run as administrator’

13. Finally click on ‘Yes’

14. Our agent is now installed on your machine and we can shortly access the device
